The annual Doug Williams Football Camp and Cheer Clinic works with youth players on a technical and fundamental level. The free clinic teaches children ages 5-13 basic football skills such as blocking, tackling and throwing. Participants also participate in speed and agility drills.
Youth also have the opportunity to work with local cheerleading and dance instructors to learn moves that will get the crowd excited and ready to stand up and support their team.
Black Rhino Sports will also provide sports physicals, educational services, sports training information, motivational speakers and new equipment demonstrations.
Doug Williams was the first African-American quarterback to start in a Super Bowl game. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and was voted Most Valuable Player in Super Bowl XXII.
This event is FREE!
